What You'll Do, Man!
So check it out, as the Lead Patient Service Provider (Budtender), you'll be workin' under the cool supervision of the Store Management team, helping to keep everything chill and runnin' smooth. You'll use your mad communication skills to talk to everyone – from the top of the chain to the people just walkin' in – and make sure all the patients get treated with love and respect, man. You're gonna lead the crew by example, showin' 'em how to give top-notch customer service, keepin' things productive, efficient, and accurate, all while makin' sure everyone's havin' a good time. You're key to makin' sure the dispensary vibe stays positive and the patients feel right at home.
What You'll Be Gettin' Up To:
Key Holder Status: You're the one openin' and closin' up shop, keepin' things secure, man.
Lead By Example: You'll be helpin' the Store Management by leading by example to show the Team how to handle things the right way-compliant and accurate, ya know? You'll be the one who sets the standard for dispensin' and payment processes.
Money Stuff: Handle that cash, baby! You'll be gettin' the register ready for the day, closing it down, reconcilin' cash and debit transactions, and doin' the bank deposit routine after a solid day of sales. You'll also be countin' those sweet tips, man.
Inventory Vibes: Workin' with the Inventory Lead to keep track of stock, makin' sure we're stocked up and everything's lookin' fresh.
Staff Breaks: You'll help coordinate break schedules so we're always ready to roll and give customers that good service during the busy times.
Problem Solvin': If something goes sideways, you're the one to handle customer issues with some calm authority, man.
Product Control: Gotta make sure everything's labeled correctly and stored like the regs say, man. Compliance is key.
Helping Customers: You'll guide customers through the best product selection for their needs, recommendin' what's right for them based on their vibe. You'll also school 'em on different strains, methods, and products, like a pro.
Cash & Credit: You'll process sales and handle cash and credit payments like it's no big deal, man. You got this.
Stayin' In the Know: Keepin' up with the latest products, strains, and trends in the industry so you're always ahead of the game, man.
Team Spirit: Keep a positive attitude and contribute to a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment for the whole crew.
Learning & Growin': You'll keep learning and growing, man, 'cause there's always more to know in this world.
Other Duties: You'll pitch in with whatever else management needs you to do, 'cause you're down for whatever, man!
Qualifications:
21 and Up, Dude: Gotta be at least 21 years old to roll with us in this job, man. We're all about keepin' it legal and smooth.
Experience, Man: A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a dispensary, retail, or customer service environment is preferred, but if you're cool and learn fast, we're down to teach ya, man.
Customer Service Pro: You've gotta know how to connect with people, keep 'em calm, happy, and informed. Your vibe needs to be warm and welcoming, no matter what.
Knowledge of the Green, Man: You should know your strains from your edibles, your vapes from your concentrates. If you don't know it all yet, you've got the passion to learn and keep up with all the new stuff out there.
Team Leader, Dude: You're not just part of the crew; you're helpin' lead it. You've gotta know how to motivate others, keep things chill, and make sure everyone's doin' their part.
Organized and On It: You'll be handling money, inventory, and compliance, so you've gotta be responsible and detail-oriented, man. We don't want no mix-ups.
Great Communication Skills: Whether you're talkin' to patients, your team, or management, you gotta be clear and calm. No stress, just smooth talkin'.
Adaptable and Flexible: Things can get busy, man, so you've gotta roll with the flow and stay cool under pressure.
Positive Attitude: We're all about good vibes, so you've gotta bring that positive energy to the team every day, man.
Physical Requirements:
Standin' on Your Feet, Dude: You'll be on your feet for most of the day, movin' around the dispensary, helpin' customers, and keepin' things in order. So you gotta be ready to stay on your feet for long periods, man.
Liftin' and Movin', Baby: You might need to lift some boxes or products, so you should be able to handle up to 30 pounds without breakin' a sweat. No biggie, man, just keep it chill.
Reach and Stretch, Man: Sometimes you'll need to reach up high or bend down low to grab products, so you've gotta be able to stretch and move with ease, ya know? Flexibility's key.
Fast on Your Feet: Whether it's a busy rush or a little downtime, you've gotta move quickly when needed, man. Being nimble on your feet helps keep everything runnin' smooth.
Vision, Man: You'll be handling products, cash, and labeling stuff, so you gotta have clear vision to make sure everything's right. Whether it's up close or a little further away, you gotta be able to see what's going on.
Good Hearing, Man: You'll be talkin' to people, so you gotta hear what they're sayin' clearly, even if there's some background noise. Communication's key, man.
