Job Purpose
The Web Designer at KNIGHT FEDERAL SOLUTIONS INC is responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, web technologies, and security protocols to ensure that all web solutions are both aesthetically pleasing and secure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design, with the ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive and engaging designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop user-friendly websites that align with client specifications and company standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, establish project timelines, and deliver high-quality web solutions.
Ensure all designs are optimized for various devices and browsers, maintaining a consistent look and feel across platforms.
Implement best practices in web design and development to enhance user experience and accessibility.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security protocols to incorporate into design strategies.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure functionality and performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and developers as needed.
Ensure compliance with security requirements, including maintaining an active/current TS/SCI and passing a CI Poly.QualificationsRequired Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Required Experience
Must have at least 8 years of professional experience in web design, including a proven track record of designing and implementing user-centric websites.
Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other industry-standard tools.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, content creators, and marketing specialists, to produce cohesive and visually appealing web designs.
Required Skills and Abilities
Must have an active/current TS/SCI clearance and be able to pass a CI Polygraph.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that function seamlessly across various devices and platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge web solutions.
