The Coordinator Engagement will lead the organization's community and stakeholder engagement function by providing strategic direction and expertise. They will drive best practice engagement, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and lead a team to deliver high-quality community outcomes.
Candidates must possess tertiary qualifications in communications, community planning, or a related discipline. Significant experience in designing and evaluating community engagement programs in complex environments is required, along with a strong understanding of IAP2 principles.

Moonee Valley City Council is seeking an experienced and collaborative Coordinator Engagement to lead the organisation's community and stakeholder engagement function.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will provide strategic direction and expertise across Council, championing inclusive and accessible engagement practices that strengthen community participation, support informed decision-making, and meet Council's obligations under the Local Government Act 2020 (Vic). Working closely with leaders and teams across the organisation, you will drive best practice engagement, build organisational capability, and create genuine opportunities for the community to influence decisions that affect them.
