The Office Engineer works closely with Field Engineers, PMs, and Accounting to support the office-related functions listed below. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to teams constructing bridges and/or heavy civil projects across the New England region. Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or related)
Prior experience in construction, preferably heavy civil
Preconstruction
Set up and manage Project Folders.
Coordinate with Preconstruction PM to identify early action tasks and prepare and update workflow tracking logs (submittals, Subcontracts, RFIs). Utilize tracking software.
Prepare meeting minutes and assist Preconstruction PM with estimating handoff meetings and monthly follow-ups.
Complete early action submittals, permit applications, subcontractor/supplier scope and pricing comparisons, subcontract preparation and approvals, 3rd party utility coordination, etc.
Document Control
Manage Owner Software systems (SharePoint, e-Builder, etc.). Upload/download documents.
