The Heavy Diesel Fitter is responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and fault finding of large-scale mobile mining equipment, specifically CAT 793 trucks. They must work collaboratively with maintenance teams to ensure 100% schedule compliance while adhering to site safety and operational procedures.
Candidates must hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate as a Heavy Duty Fitter or Diesel Mechanic. Previous experience in the mining industry and specific experience with CAT 793 mobile plant equipment are essential.

As a Heavy Diesel Fitter in the Trucks Department (CAT 793) at Fortescue's Solomon Project, your expertise will be essential in maintaining and optimising Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) critical to our operations, ensuring they operate efficiently and in alignment with our ambitious sustainability goals.
