The Senior Electrical Designer will create detailed technical drawings and electrical designs for industrial projects while ensuring technical excellence and consistency. As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by creating detailed technical drawings and electrical designs for various projects. This role is responsible for ensuring technical excellence and consistency on all deliverables, reviewing electrical drawings contributing to decision making and mentoring junior and intermediate designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be self-sufficient or nearly self-sufficient in developing construction drawings for electrical, control, and instrumentation systems primarily on Oil & Gas Facilities.
- Manage concurrent projects / deliverables, prioritizing deliverables effectively to meet tight deadlines and competing demands. Ability to delegate tasks appropriately to team
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to develop cohesive designs and complete drawing packages aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.
Experience in:
o Cable sizing, voltage drop calculation, and conduit fill calculations a plus
o OCPD sizing a plus
