Oversee derivative and hedge accounting while providing technical analysis for complex midstream business transactions. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and support external reporting requirements such as MD&A and AIF.
Requires a Bachelor's degree, CPA certification, and over 12 years of progressively senior experience in accounting or finance. Must possess thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS, with prior public accounting experience preferred.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Finance, the Senior Manager, Midstream Finance will be the key contact for the accounting analysis of complex transactions, derivative/hedge accounting, cross functional business partnering, and process efficiencies and improvements for the Midstream business unit. This person will work closely with other departments to identify and assess accounting issues, provide direct support on commercial activities, support processes efficiencies and improvements, and support the Corporate function in executing the Management Discussion and Analysis, and Annual Information Form.
