Full job description
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Brand & Experience team builds the emotional connection between Deliveroo and our customers, riders, and partners. With a deep understanding of our audience and a passion for creativity, we bring our brand to life across every touchpoint. Whether it’s a push notification, social campaign, or packaging design—we craft compelling experiences that shape perceptions, spark engagement, and make Deliveroo a loved, global brand.
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Search and App - Europe to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll help us own paid search and app growth across Europe, leading team performance and driving sustainable, AI-enabled marketplace acquisition. This role will report into the Performance Marketing Director and work under our hybrid model - 3 days a week from our London HQ.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Performance Marketing team. Operating across France, Italy, and Belgium, you will set strategy, own multi-million budgets, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Drive Channel Strategy & Growth: Own the strategy, execution, and performance of paid search and app marketing across France, Italy, and Belgium to deliver targets for customer acquisition, resurrections, and subscriptions.
Lead and Develop People: Coach, lead, and develop a team of paid search and app specialists, building core capability as our channels and business scale.
Champion AI & Automation: Scale AI tools and automated solutions across bidding, creative production, measurement, and anomaly detection to continuously improve efficiency.
Optimise Budget Allocation: Manage multi-market budgets dynamically, reallocating spend swiftly in response to performance data, competitor movements, and market shifts.
Build Advanced Models: Partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics to build, refine, and test measurement, attribution, and bidding models.
Navigate Matrix Stakeholders: Collaborate with Brand, Growth, Product, Finance, and regional General Managers to align stakeholders across functions around shared growth targets.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential:
Significant Performance Marketing Leadership: Proven track record leading large-scale paid search and app marketing functions, managing sizeable budgets, and delivering measurable ROI in a high-growth consumer or marketplace environment.
Team Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated experience building, managing, and developing high-performing performance marketing specialists.
AI & Automation Integration: Practical experience using, or a strong commitment to rapidly adopting, AI tools and automation to drive channel efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Matrix Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence, align, and collaborate across functional teams (Data Science, Product, Finance, regional GMs) without direct line authority.
Commercial & Analytical Rigour: High fluency with performance data, experimentation, attribution models, and turning analytics into clear commercial recommendations.
Nice to Have:
Multi-Market Scope: Experience managing performance marketing across European markets (specifically France, Italy, or Belgium).
Platform & Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of upcoming platform, privacy, and policy updates across Google, Apple, and Android ecosystems.
