We believe that our Delivery Professionals are the heart and soul of our business, serving as the primary ambassadors to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Part - Time Delivery Professional to join our team at our Menomonee Falls, WI Service Center.
Matthews International is a world wide leader in casket manufacturing, providing the highest quality wood, metal and cremation caskets and other products to our funeral home customers. This position will be responsible for the delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.
Pay Rate: $21 - hourly.
Work Schedule: 3 - 4 Days in week with availability to work on occasional Saturdays.
Work Shift: First shift hours, our Delivery Professionals are home every early afternoon.
Weekly Hours: 25-29 hours per week.
Independence: As a Delivery Professional, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your daily tasks while being part of a motivated team that values your contributions.
Work Environment: With our smaller warehouse, you will be working with only a few fellow co-workers in a relaxed, friendly work environment.
Work-Life Balance: With our local deliveries, you can be home early afternoons, allowing you to enjoy quality time with your loved ones.
Physical Activity: Stay active and engaged on the job as you make a positive impact through your deliveries.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• Must have current driver’s license.
