The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers, managing the service process from greeting and vehicle inspection to estimating costs and scheduling repairs. They are responsible for building strong customer relationships and up-selling services to meet dealership production standards.
Candidates should have previous experience in the automotive or customer service industries and a working knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required to perform the essential duties of the role.

The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for all automotive service customers and responsible for building strong customer relationships. They greet and consult customers on service needs, perform a thorough vehicle walk around inspection as part of the write-up, sell and up sell services by emphasizing value, keep customers updated on services, field all live service calls, and take ownership of the customers' experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer.
Coughlin Automotive is one of the fastest-growing dealerships in Central Ohio with over 1,000 vehicles in stock. We have seventeen locations spread across Newark, Pataskala, Circleville, Heath, Chillicothe, Lancaster, Lewis Center, Dublin and Marysville as well as seventeen service centers and four collisions centers. We carry thirteen brands including Buick, Chrysler, GMC, Ford, Chevrolet, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Cadillac, Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, and Kia, -- and our service, body and parts departments are unmatched in the industry.

Education/Experience:
Previous experience in automotive or customer service industries. Working knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
