We are currently looking for an auditor to join our Auckland team. This is a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. The salary range for this position is $68,000 – $73,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on audit jobs for a wide range of clients. This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand, with travel to client sites required. While most work is Auckland-based, occasional travel outside of Auckland may be required. We are currently recruiting for multiple auditors to join our team.
The role will involve:
Completing audit fieldwork and assigned audit sections
Preparing audit workpapers and supporting financial statement preparation
Identifying audit risks and gathering audit evidence
Liaising with clients and audit team members
Meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
Using audit systems, including CaseWare, and Microsoft Excel effectively
You will ideally have:
Minimum 1+ years’ audit experience in a CA or public practice environment, and on track to complete your CA/CPA studies
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
An ability to engage with clients and team members
Audit assignment knowledge and experience
Systems knowledge (bonus points for CaseWare)
Professionalism and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Excellent Excel skills
Strong attention to detail
The desire to work in a rewarding environment
