Job DetailsJob Location: Donley - PHOENIX, AZ 85029Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $27.00 - $30.00 HourlyThe Lead Installer is responsible for installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.
Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes per manufacturer specifications, company policy, local and state required codes.
Effectively perform the functions of equipment troubleshooting, installation, start-up, operation and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings to AMI Quality Standards, required code and job specifications.
Perform installation of refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
Ensure gas line connections and fittings to are properly secured.
Perform metal and wood hole cutting, framing and nailing outlets as required by job specifications.
Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational.
Verify all materials and equipment required for each scheduled job and load into company vehicle.
Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety trainings and regulations as defined by company policy and procedure.
Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and operated in accordance to company driving policy.
Provide knowledge, training and guidance to Install Helpers to assist in the development of skills necessary to perform HVAC installation job requirements.
Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsCompetencies
This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
This position requires a minimum of six months prior HVAC installation experience. Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job. Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
