The Junior Interior Designer supports senior staff in space planning, functional design development, and furniture procurement for complex projects. Responsibilities include creating 3D renderings, drafting working drawings in AutoCAD, and performing site measurements.
Candidates should have 1-5 years of interior design experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software. A BAID degree from a CIDA accredited school is required, and progress toward NCIDQ certification is expected.
The Junior Interior Designer is part of a team delivering Space Layout & Interior design, Functional Space Planning and Furniture Procurement Support services. The Junior Interior design role supports senior resources in information gathering, space planning and design development activities for complex projects as well as working drawings for low complexity design projects.
The Intermediate Interior Designer works with internal BGIS staff as well as client and external consultants, as required, to ensure timely, successful implementation of TFMS Services and client project work.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $52,864 - $66,080 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
