Candidate territory: Charlotte, Raleigh, Greenville, Rock Hill
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Identifies and generates new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
Acts as the main point of contact for all builder matters, concerns and needs
Builds and strengthens client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
Maintains accurate builder records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals as required
Develops a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
Takes inquiries and requests from builders to address service needs
Stays on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs
Meets regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve service to builders
Generates progress reports to give to Sales Manager and leadership
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
Keeps management informed on competitive positions and action as well provide feedback on competitive positioning
Keeps Senior Management informed of activities and progress toward established sales goals & objectives
Completes required reports and related documents promptly and accurately. Ensure the accuracy of all reports and accounting records
Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness
Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of sales or related experience
High school diploma or GED
Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of sales experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive feedback

Working Conditions:
Partial time spent in an open office environment
May be exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors
Fast-paced environment
Travel by vehicle to and from work locations
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently
Frequently performs tasks requiring bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching
Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad
Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools
