The Meter Inspector is responsible for installing, testing, and certifying 3-phase revenue meters and electronic data recorders. They must verify wiring accuracy, troubleshoot metering problems, and create or modify technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Requires a technical or engineering degree and at least 4 years of experience in revenue metering. Preferred candidates hold certifications such as ERCOT EPS or CAISO Authorized Inspector and are able to travel at least 50% of the time.
