The Warehouse Teammate is responsible for receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory while accurately picking and packing customer orders. They must also maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and security while operating material handling equipment.
Candidates should have at least one year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience, with a preference for two years. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and proficiency in using warehouse inventory systems and RF scanners.

Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.
J & H AITCHESON is one of those trade names and is looking for a Warehouse Teammate at their Lorton, Virginia location.
Pay for Warehouse Teammate is between $21 and $23 per hour at this location.

About the Role:
You will:
Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
About You:
1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
Additional Details:
• Training will be conducted in Alexandria, Virginia
• Work location: Lorton, Virginia
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Work hours may vary based on business needs
• Strongly prefer if you have a minimum of two (2) years experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, and material handling
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
