As a Strategic Account Manager, you will develop and implement strategy for increasing sales and profits with potential new strategic customers and call on potential new accounts.
In this role you will:
Target and aggressively pursue new Corporate Account customers.
Coordinate needs of specific customers.
Coordinate activities with key suppliers.
Identify opportunities at assigned potential accounts, and communicate those opportunities to appropriate employees.
Transition new accounts to Business Management.
Develop key relationships with assigned accounts.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5 years experience in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or operating experience required
Experience with sales, marketing, and operating processes
Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques; pricing strategies and techniques
Knowledge of SAP
Negotiation skills
Ability to make oral and written presentations to audiences of different sizes and varied backgrounds
Ability to think strategically
Ability to execute plans on time, on budget, and achieve successful results
Travel required 20-30%
Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at $106,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
This role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes. Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers. This program allows you to choose and drive your own vehicle, rather than a company-assigned car, and your reimbursements can help you build equity in your vehicle over time. Please note that certain vehicle requirements, such as age and original MSRP, may impact your eligibility for tax-free reimbursement. More information about Graybar's FAVR reimbursement program will be shared upon hire.
This role is a remote role, with expectations to be onboarded in St. Louis, MO.
