The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of hospital facilities, including floor care, waste disposal, and monitoring assigned areas. They operate specialized floor cleaning equipment and ensure all surfaces meet health care sanitation standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Previous experience in the janitorial industry or with floor care equipment is preferred.

Xanitos is hiring Full-time Hospital Floor Techs at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.
Previous experience as a Floor Technician or related role preferred.
Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques preferred.

Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
