The provider will work in a collaborative team-based model to provide comprehensive critical care, including assessment, treatment planning, and patient education. Responsibilities also include performing clinical procedures such as central and arterial line placement and participating in patient-centered research.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and possess relevant professional certifications. The role requires clinical proficiency in critical care settings and the ability to work a rotating schedule of day and night shifts.
14 shifts/month with a mix of day and night (nocturnal stipend offered) 12-hour shifts (7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am)
Work alongside critical care physicians in a collaborative, team-based model
Provide comprehensive care: assessment, planning, education, treatment, and follow-up
Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines, Temporary dialysis catheters, Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others
Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives
Serve as a patient advocate, liaison, and trusted advisor for patients and families
Moonlighting opportunities available for additional income
