This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days of work onsite each week.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM
Job Summary
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing accounts reconciliations, assisting with close processes and maintaining applicable account documentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and assisting with the monthly close process. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Meet processing and reporting deadlines, both internal and external. Respond to and assist with information requests, reviewing financials statements and assisting with external audits. Ensure that accounting records and reporting are compliant with GAAP standards. Assist Asst Controller and Senior Accountant as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field 2+ years of accounting experience Basic understanding of Microsoft, especially Excel, and GAAP Self-starter with the ability to identify accounting discrepancies, problem solve and think critically; Strong time-management skills; Ability to work under time constraints and pressure; Highly organized and detail-oriented.
