Ducks Unlimited seeks a motivated professional to serve as their Public Policy Coordinator. The successful candidate will work with DU Volunteers and Staff to drive DU volunteers and supporter engagement with DU Public Policy issues and identify public funding opportunities for DU conservation programs. This role will be based out of Ducks Unlimited National Headquarters in Memphis, TN.
Ducks Unlimited is the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving North America’s migratory birds and the habitats on which they depend to fulfill their annual life cycle needs. This position will play a critical role in the success of DU’s government affairs and policy efforts that directly contribute to achieving the organization’s habitat mission. Candidates must be highly organized and have the ability to manage several tasks at once without requiring extensive supervision. This position reports directly to DU’s Chief Policy Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
Benefits/Pay: Pay will be based on experience and education. DU offers an exceptional benefit package, including comprehensive group medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance, including spouse and dependent coverage; three weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, and ten paid holidays; 401(k) plan (including partial employer match); and tuition reimbursement.
