Full job description
At Perry Weather, we’re trusted by top organizations like the PGA of America, the National Football League, Turner Construction, and Major League Baseball to automate weather safety operations and mitigate risk. Named a Great Place to Work and an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private company, Perry Weather is headquartered in Dallas at The Centrum in the vibrant Oak Lawn neighborhood.
About the Role
When you join Perry Weather, you're joining an incredibly driven, high-performing team of builders committed to protecting hundreds of thousands of people from weather-related risks and helping organizations operate with minimal disruption. If you're passionate about making a difference as part of a team building the next generation of weather safety technology, Perry Weather is the place for you.
We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our corporate office and secondary warehouse location while creating an exceptional employee experience. This role owns workplace operations, facilities, company events, internal communications, and administrative support, partnering closely with our People and Finance teams to keep the business running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and vendor relationships for our corporate office and warehouse
Oversee office facilities, supplies, equipment, security, and workspace organization
Assist with executing company events, employee celebrations, and workplace engagement initiatives
Manage the company intranet, internal newsletter, digital signage, and office communication systems, including telecom and intercom platforms
Partner with the People team by coordinating onboarding logistics, interview support, and employee experience initiatives
Support the Finance team with clerical accounting tasks, including depositing checks, invoicing, collections, and vendor documentation
Order business cards, maintain office technology and shared resources, and serve as the primary contact for office-related vendors and services
Identify opportunities to improve office operations, processes, and the overall workplace experience
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, facilities, or a similar role
Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Experience coordinating vendors, facilities, and company events
Comfortable balancing administrative, operational, and employee-facing responsibilities
Success in This Role
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, anticipate needs before they arise, and enjoy creating an organized, welcoming workplace. You’re a self-starter who can operate with little direction and takes initiative to make improvements. You're energized by supporting employees, solving problems, and ensuring the office operates efficiently while contributing to a positive company culture.
Benefits
You'll actually want to come in. Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit, it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days.
Your wellbeing is covered. Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics.
Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too.
You're getting in early, and that matters. We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes.
Physical Requirements
Regularly remain in a stationary position while working at a computer.
Frequently move throughout the office and warehouse to support day-to-day operations.
Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift or move office supplies, packages, beverages, and event materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to travel between company locations as needed.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
The modern weather safety platform for athletics, parks & rec, golf, construction, and others facing disruptive weather. Powerful, intuitive cloud-based software and connected hardware that protects lives, enforces policy, and minimizes the impact of weather.
