The Radiology Support Assistant manages the flow of imaging reports and images across various modalities to ensure patient care. Key duties include transporting patients, verifying identification, and handling the electronic transfer and logging of images into PACS and Epic.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree and healthcare experience preferred. Candidates must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
The Radiology Support Assistant will assist with the flow of imaging images and reports from all the modalities used for the care of each patient within the system.
