The Clinical Lab Assistant is responsible for performing specimen collection via venipuncture or fingerstick and managing specimen processing. They also conduct point of care testing and perform other assigned duties consistent with their training.
Candidates must hold a Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification and have completed technical training in phlebotomy. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least two years of hospital experience for the level II position.

The Clinical Lab Assistant is responsible for specimen collection (venipuncture/fingerstick) and preparation, and other duties as assigned that are consistent with skills and training to include but are not limited to:
Phlebotomy
Specimen Processing
Point of Care Testing
License through Washington State Department of Health - Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (PC).
Technical training /certification in phlebotomy.
High School diploma or GED.
Six months hospital experience preferred.
Experience with phlebotomy on neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, adult, trauma and critical patients also preferred.
At least two (2) years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer Service experience preferred.
American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) registration a plus
License through Washington State Department of Health - Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (PC) required.
Technical training /certification in phlebotomy.
High School diploma or GED.
Two years hospital experience required.
Experience with phlebotomy on neonatal, pediatri
