Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Form Operator
Set up, operate, and monitorpanel-forming equipment and press brakes in accordance with training and approved procedures.
Read work orders, flat-pattern and formed-part drawings, bend information, dimensions, material specifications, quantities, and revisions.
Select, inspect, install, and verify appropriate tooling as trained and authorized.
Use machine controls and basic calculations to enter or verify bend sequences, angles, dimensions, and corrections.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using a tape measure, square, angle gauge, calipers, or other assigned measuring tools.
Identify material orientation, grain/protective-film requirements, part hand, and correct bend direction before forming.
Recognize forming defects, tooling issues, dimensional variation, and unsafe conditions; stop and escalate when required.
Handle and stage sheet-metal blanks and finished parts to prevent injury, mix-ups, and product damage.
Operate a forklift and other authorized material-handling equipment as needed.
Record production quantities, scrap, rework, inspections, and machine issues accurately.
Perform operator-level cleaning, inspection, and preventive maintenance as trained.
Maintain organized tooling and a clean, safe work area; support other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-Mechanical Assembly
Build fan assemblies, powder collector units, heater units, and related mechanical subassemblies to current drawings, bills of material, and work instructions.
Read and interpret assembly prints, exploded views, dimensions, hardware callouts, and revision information.
Measure, fit, align, fasten, seal, and adjust components to meet assembly and quality requirements.
Use hand tools, drills, impact drivers, grinders, riveters, torque tools, and other basic power tools safely and correctly.
Verify parts and hardware before assembly and report missing, incorrect, damaged, or nonconforming material.
Perform in-process checks for alignment, fastener security, rotation/clearance, fit, appearance, and completeness.
Follow specified torque, sealing, guarding, and equipment-identification requirements.
Move and position components using carts, hoists, pallet jacks, or other approved lifting devices.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
Maintain an orderly work area and protect completed equipment from damage.
Coordinate with fabrication, electrical, quality, and production teammates to resolve assembly issues.
Perform rework, testing support, packaging preparation, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-Breakout Technician
• Break out laser-cut parts from sheet metal skeletons (remaining material after CNC cutting)
• Ensure all parts are fully removed from the sheet, with nothing left behind in the skeleton
• Sort and organize parts by job, part number, and production priority
• Apply identification labels/stickers to each part to ensure traceability throughout the shop floor
• Separate usable parts from scrap skeleton material
• Remove and dispose of skeleton scrap in designated recycling or waste areas
• Inspect parts during breakout for obvious defects (incomplete cuts, tip-ups, warping, etc.)
• Stage completed parts for the forming department in an organized and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area around laser tables and breakout stations
• Communicate issues with cut quality, missing parts, or labeling discrepancies to supervisors or QC
• Follow all safety procedures when handling sharp edges and heavy materials
Safety, Quality, and Team Expectations
Follow all company safety rules, lockout/tagout requirements, PPE requirements, and equipment-specific procedures applicable to assigned work.
Stop work and promptly report injuries, hazards, near misses, defective equipment, and quality concerns.
Produce work to current drawings, specifications, and quality standards; do not knowingly pass defects to the next operation.
Communicate respectfully, support coworkers, accept coaching, and contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
Follow company policies and perform work only within assigned training and authorization.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Regularly stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, grip, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
Lift, carry, and position materials or components weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively, with assistance or lifting equipment when appropriate.
Work around moving equipment, sharp sheet-metal edges, noise, dust, and varying temperatures while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain the visual acuity, manual dexterity, and coordination needed to perform accurate fabrication or assembly work.
Schedule and Attendance
Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and report ready to work at the scheduled start time.
Work overtime, alternate shifts, and flexible hours as production needs require.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, HVAC, fabrication, automotive, or related experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how components fit and function together.
Previous press-brake, panel-former, sheet-metal, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read fabrication prints, forming drawings, bend callouts, and revision information.
Ability to read assembly drawings and use a tape measure accurately.
Basic shop math skills, including fractions and decimals.
Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Dependable team player who communicates clearly and follows direction.
