The Assistant Venue Manager supports the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, site set-up, and the delivery of the Moonlight Cinema experience. This role involves leading a team of 30 casual staff, managing food and beverage inventory, and ensuring high standards of safety and guest service.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within events, hospitality, or retail. A current RSA certification and a valid Australian driver's licence are essential requirements for this position.

About the Role
As Assistant Venue Manager, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to support the successful delivery of the Moonlight Cinema experience. You'll play a key role in venue operations, team leadership, guest experience, safety, and commercial performance while helping to lead a seasonal workforce throughout the summer season.
This is a fixed-term, full-time contract running from 13 October 2026 to 14 April 2027.
