Compile, process, and maintain patient health information in compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing electronic charts for appointments and managing incoming communications such as faxes and emails.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, with one to two years of medical experience preferred. Candidates must possess knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office.
Compile, process, and maintain patient’s health information in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the practice in a timely manner. The Electronic Medical Records Technician responsibilities are in accordance with the Health Information Management procedures as it pertains to the Chart Prep team.
