The Peri-Anesthesia RN provides pre-operative care and coordinates nursing services for patients in a collaborative environment. They are responsible for developing patient care plans, supervising assistive personnel, and ensuring continuity of care through effective communication with the healthcare team.
Candidates must hold an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing and possess a valid Minnesota RN license. A minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, specifically with surgical patients, is required along with BLS and PALS certifications.
Fairview has an immediate opening for a Peri-Anesthesia RN at the Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center located on the University of MN East Bank campus in Minneapolis, MN.This is a casual position. Clinic operating hours are 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the pre-operative care of the Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center patient and significant others in collaboration with other health care providers.
