Candidates must be a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) with API membership and a current driver's licence. Knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960 and experience in government valuations are mandatory.

About the role
The role supports the Valuer-General Victoria in delivering accurate and compliant statutory valuations for rating, taxation, and levy purposes. It is responsible for auditing, certifying, and reviewing valuations while applying relevant legislation, standards, and quality processes to ensure valuation accuracy and integrity.
The role provides specialist valuation advice, manages objections and disputes, supports contract valuers, and builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It contributes to policy improvements, staff capability, and effective service delivery while promoting collaboration, cultural safety, and continuous improvement.
