The Environmental Services Attendant performs essential housekeeping functions to maintain a clean and infection-free environment for patients and staff. Responsibilities include room cleaning, floor maintenance, and the safe handling of various types of waste including biohazardous and radioactive materials.
Candidates should have previous experience in environmental services, preferably within a hospital setting, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation such as OHSA and WHMIS, along with a commitment to infection control practices, is required.

Work Schedule:
The successful candidate must be flexible to cover any shift and assignment as required, including weekends and statutory holidays.
Shifts are currently as follows, Nights - 0000-0800hrs, Days - 0730-1530hrs, 0800-1600hrs, 0900-1700hrs, 1000-1800hrs, 1100-1900hrs, Evenings - 1300-2100hrs, 1600-2400hrs.
Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.
