Candidates must have previous experience in patient scheduling and order entry, along with knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency in computer systems, preferably Meditech, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

What you bring to the role:
Previous experience with patient scheduling and order entry in a high volume, fast-paced environment is required
Knowledge of and/or completion of a medical terminology course
Proficient computer skills, Meditech experience preferred
Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent public relations and communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of the team
Evidence of good attention to detail
Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
Work Schedule:
This position is for every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 0830-1630 in the Patient Scheduling office.
