The Disability Medical Coordinator medically manages complex disability claims by working directly with claimants' physicians to facilitate functional improvements. This includes assessing diagnostic and treatment needs, developing proactive plans, and maintaining ongoing contact with claimants.
Candidates must be regulated healthcare professionals with at least five years of clinical experience and current registration in good standing. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for a Disability Medical Coordinator with current registration in good standing with respective governing body (Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist).
The Medical Coordinator medically manages complex disability claims in a pro-active manner. This involves working directly with a claimant’s attending physician to achieve a level of functional improvement that supports the earliest possible return to employability. The Coordinator accomplishes this by confirming the accuracy of a diagnosis, clarifying the functional impact of the diagnosis, accessing diagnostic testing (as needed), researching and arranging external specialist consultations, researching and securing external treatment providers, all aimed at functional improvement with the goal of a return to employability.

The base salary for this position is between $56,900 - $94,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
