The Assistant Teacher supports the planning and implementation of daily activities to stimulate child development across physical, emotional, social, and cognitive areas. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean classroom environment and building positive relationships with parents and families.
Candidates must be Group Leader Qualified by the Colorado Child Care Licensing Department and possess an associate degree in ECE or 3 years of experience. Those without an ECE degree must obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification within 6 months of hire.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum Group Leader Qualified by the Colorado Child Care Licensing Department; Associate degree in child development/early childhood education or 3 years' experience.
Training: We provide a robust training curriculum that will support our employees throughout their career. Training provided within the first year of employment includes: De-escalation & Safety; Mental Health First Aid; Substance Abuse & Mental Health; Human Trafficking; Trauma Informed Care; and many more.

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver has been serving northern Colorado since 1927.
