The Staffing Coordinator manages scheduling software to ensure qualified nursing resources are deployed to patient care areas. They are also responsible for orienting new associates on the health system's scheduling software.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for two years of hospital, clerical, or customer service experience. Candidates should have experience with scheduling software and flexibility to work rotating shifts.
The Staffing Coordinator maintains the scheduling software, to ensure only qualified resources with current, mandatory competencies, orientation and/or certifications work in the units where such requirements are relevant.
