Candidates need a high school diploma and 1 to 5 years of experience in vacuum pump maintenance or a related mechanical/electrical field. Proficiency with technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts is required.

Job Summary
The Roughing Pump and Abatement Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of roughing pumps and associated vacuum systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. This role ensures optimal pump performance, minimizes downtime, and supports production efficiency.
