The SBA Underwriter I prepares in-depth credit analyses for SBA 7a, 504, and Express loans while ensuring compliance with SBA SOP and bank credit standards. They also manage the loan approval process, review third-party reports, and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate loan closings.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting and possess 1 to 5 years of banking or credit experience. A strong understanding of SBA SOP eligibility requirements and formal commercial credit training is required.
