The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of company vehicles and heavy machinery in the shop and at job sites. Key duties include troubleshooting various mechanical systems and maintaining detailed repair order documentation.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of mechanic experience. A valid driver's license and a CDL Class A are required for this position.

Summary:
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work in shop and travel to job sites to ensure the repair and maintenance of equipment. Equipment will include company vehicles, heavy machinery, and smaller equipment. Working with the Shop Manager and other team members, this is a crucial part of making sure Fessler & Bowman’s business runs smoothly.
