Toole Design is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. We’re seeking someone ready to lead transportation projects, take ownership, and guide project delivery in line with our mission and values.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll lead transportation projects from concept through construction, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, multimodal solutions. You’ll play a key role in guiding design, mentoring staff, and ensuring projects move forward efficiently and effectively.
We’re a purpose-driven team of engineers, planners, landscape architects, and urban designers who believe streets should work for everyone. At Toole Design, you’ll collaborate with industry leaders and mentors shaping national guidance like the AASHTO Bike Guide (5th Edition), the upcoming AASHTO Pedestrian Guide (3rd Edition), and the FHWA Guide for Achieving Multimodal Networks. We are targeting a salary range of $126,000 to $143,000 for this position. Candidates with exceptional qualifications who exceed the required experience may qualify for additional compensation.
