HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families, and communities for health, justice, and hope.The part time Immigration Program Assistant is responsible for providing immigration support and advocacy to clients in our Seattle, Washington office and assisting in outreach to the immigrant and refugee community in Washington.
Provide support to the Staff Attorney and Immigration Specialist with a wide variety of immigration matters including but not limited to Naturalization, Adjustment of Status, and Family Reunification.
Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to uploading USCIS notices and other documents to immigration software, making copies, and organizing file cabinets.
Schedule appointments for clients and organize the Staff Attorney’s calendar.
Maintain accurate client files and detailed case notes.
Attend ongoing training and continuing education courses to keep updated on recent changes in Immigration Law.
HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:
1 year of related experience;
HS diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated fluency in English AND Spanish, both spoken and written
Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites
Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle

Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
