About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented individual with excellent relationship management skills to join our School Breakfast Program team. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will provide support and resources to assigned schools. You will be working as part of a team of Community Development Coordinators and will work collaboratively on the development of program resources and administrative processes to ensure that program objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
Work with school principals and on-site coordinators (program monitors, school staff and volunteers) to ensure smooth delivery of programs within assigned schools.
Implement new programs in schools as required.
Collect and analyze program data.
Coordinate school equipment purchase process for identified schools.
Coordinate the delivery of training sessions for schools and their staff.
Conduct program evaluations and annual program surveys.
Provide support to ensure food safety standards and Student Nutrition Guidelines are met.
Maintain relationships with key partners.
Serve as a representative and advocate for ONFE and its programs.
Required Skills and Experience
Knowledge of the Ottawa education system and ancillary services.
Adaptable and proactive in supporting change and innovation.
Strong ability to collaborate and maintain positive partnerships partners
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Computer aptitude and proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools.
Demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated organization and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of food safety practices would be an asset.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in community development, social sciences, nutrition, education, health promotion, or a related field, including experience with program coordination or management
Satisfactory Police Record Check in alignment with ONFE’s Conditions of Employment Policy.
Driver’s license, and access to a reliable motor vehicle with insurance coverage that has no policy restrictions for work related driving.
Fluency in English and French (oral and written) and fluency in other languages.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne dynamique, ayant l’esprit d’équipe et d’excellentes compétences en gestion des relations, pour joindre les rangs de l’équipe responsable du Programme des petits déjeuners en milieu scolaire. Sous la responsabilité du gestionnaire du programme, vous offrirez un soutien et des ressources aux écoles qui vous seront attribuées. Vous travaillerez au sein d’une équipe de coordonnateurs du développement communautaire et collaborerez à l’élaboration des ressources et des processus administratifs du programme afin de garantir la réalisation des objectifs de celui-ci.
Principales responsabilités
Travailler avec les directeurs et les coordinateurs qui sont chaque jour sur place (moniteurs du programme, personnel scolaire et bénévoles) pour veiller au bon déroulement du programme dans les écoles concernées.
Mettre en place de nouveaux programmes dans les écoles, selon les besoins.
Recueillir et analyser régulièrement les données du programme.
Contribuer à l’achat d’équipement scolaire.
Participer à l’organisation de séances de formation pour les écoles et leur personnel.
Réaliser des évaluations et des enquêtes annuelles.
Apporter votre soutien pour veiller au respect des normes de salubrité alimentaire et des lignes directrices sur la nutrition des élèves.
Entretenir des relations avec les partenaires clés.
Représenter et défendre le ROPE et ses programmes.
Compétences et expérience obligatoires
Connaissance du système d’éducation d’Ottawa et des services auxiliaires.
Capacité d’adaptation et initiative en matière de soutien au changement et à l’innovation.
Grande aptitude à collaborer et à entretenir des relations constructives avec les parties prenantes.
Solides compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes.
