The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to ensure safe indoor air quality. This includes troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components, managing refrigerants, and complying with building and safety codes.
Candidates need 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and experience with rooftop, split, and package units are required, with EPA certification preferred.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Facility, the HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation, and related systems. Perform all work to comply with related building codes, local, state, federal and governing codes, and agency policies and procedures. This position's main goal is to provide a safe and adequate indoor air quality/working environment for clients and staff.
