Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid medical license to practice in Puerto Rico, including state and federal narcotic licenses and malpractice insurance. Experience working with vulnerable populations and a willingness to use electronic health records are required.

Staff begins accruing PTO immediately for a total of up to 30 days earned in the first year. We offer employees an educational benefit. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.
Overview:
Intercambios Puerto Rico es una organización comunitaria sin fines de lucro que promueve la integración social de grupos marginados. Esta posicion de medico se enfoca en brindar servicios de medicina primaria y servicios a personas que consumen drogas (PWUD) y que se encuentran sin hogar y / o trastornos de salud mental concurrentes.
Responsibilities:
Evaluar las necesidades de los participantes en el área de salud y ayudar en la creación de planes de prestación de servicios.
Ofrecer servicios de evaluación médica, tratamiento, consultoría y seguimiento en distintos escenarios tales como: Espacio Clínico, Comunidad y Unidad Móvil.
Sensibilidad para trabajar con poblaciones vulnerables, cumpliendo con los más altos estándares de calidad.
Trabajar junto a equipo multidiciplinario es provicion de servicios.
Manejo de toda información confidencial, según las reglamentaciones federales y estatales.
Conocimiento en el área de salud mental
Conocimiento en el área de servicios a participantes de Hepatitis-C
Brindar servicios utilizando prácticas / intervenciones basadas en evidencia
Orientar y educar a los participantes del programa hacia la salud y el bienestar.
Mantener datos y documentación de la salud de los participantes e informar a los financiadores pertinentes
Dirigir servicios médicos en la organización y crear protocolos
Requirements:
Licencia para ejercer en Puerto Rico
Licencia Narcótico/ Estatal y Federal
Seguro de impericia médica
Credenciales: Colegiacion, NPI
Conocimiento sobre la provision de Buprenorfina: si no lo tiene, disposición a obtenerlo
Experiencia trabajando con poblaciones vulnerables,
Dispuesto a trabajar en equipo y cumplir con la normas y procedimientos de Intercambios Puerto Rico
Dispuesto a documentar en expediente electrónico.
