The Estate Technician is responsible for grounds maintenance, including grass cutting and hedge pruning, as well as cleaning communal areas and managing bin disinfection. The role also involves maintaining stock levels, completing work records, and providing excellent customer service while resolving service issues.
Candidates should have or be willing to work towards a BICS certificate, NVQ 2 in Horticulture, and Pesticide Application Certificates PA1-PA6. A full valid manual UK driving licence is required to operate company vehicles for site visits.

Estate Technician
Cumbernauld
£26,503 - per year (pro rata)
40 hours per week
Temporary until the 31st of March 2027
We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team in Cumbernauld. The role is responsible for basic ground maintenance including grass cutting, hedge pruning, pesticide spraying. You will be part of a 2 person squad carrying out cleaning of communal blocks, litter picking and disinfecting bin areas as well as bulk uplifts
Working as part of a team and lone working when required you will cover several sites across Cumbernauld. The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate that they are able to adapt to the demands, challenges and changes of the role whilst showing confidence to work within a customer-based environment. Appropriate and additional training will be given to the successful candidate to ensure they are competent to carry out their role.
