Residential counselors facilitate activities of daily living and provide direct clinical support to consumers with severe mental illness. They are responsible for managing intakes, facilitating group therapy, monitoring medications, and maintaining a safe, trauma-informed environment.
Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field or be pursuing one, with one year of mental health experience preferred. Required certifications include QMAP, CPR, and First Aid, and applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Our Guiding Principles:
Position Summary:
Residential Counselors facilitate and work with consumers on a variety of activities of daily living (ADLs) needed for consumers to become more self-sufficient and move toward recovery. Additionally, you will facilitate group therapy, manage intakes/discharges, monitor medications, create a safe environment for the consumers, help coordinate treatment, and advocate for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Responsible for direct service care to consumers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Team Specific Information: This is a residential house, and staff work three 12 hour shifts.
Work Location: 1920 E 13th Ave, Denver CO 80206
Shift/Hours: Wednesday Awake Overnight 8pm-8am
Compensation & Benefits:
The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.

Physical Requirements: Requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting. Must be able to perform a variety of household tasks, climb stairs, move throughout the house, and quickly respond to emergencies. May require lifting 50 pounds.
