Position Summary:
Leads the strategic direction, activities and administration of multiple programs with significant overall budget and complexity. Plans implementation and delivery of overall programs and activities to ensure organizational direction and goals are met and client outcomes achieved.
Position Description:
Provide strategic direction and oversight of multiple programs within guidelines of contracts.
Oversight of and overall budget of $12 million dollars
Head the development, implementation, and coordination of effective programs, contributing to excellent client care and outcomes
Lead the delivery of services in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization and according to agency, regulatory, and funder requirements
Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the agency
Oversight of 120 direct full time/part time employees
Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the programs
Develop and manage budget and operating plan to support the financial success of the programs
Utilize a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the programs and to identify areas for improvement
Supervise program management by providing direction, input and feedback
Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders
Collaborate with other agency service lines to ensure service integration
Write reports for internal and external purposes
Communicate with funders and external stakeholders as outlined in funding agreements and contracts

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Job Requirements:
Masters’ degree in Behavioral/Social Sciences, Business/Public Administration or related area or;
Bachelor’s degree in same and equivalent work experience
8 years supervisory/management experience
Experience in a corrections/halfway house facility setting preferred
Dependent on position; additional licensure may be required
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
