The provider is responsible for delivering a broad range of medical services, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and patient counseling under physician supervision. They must manage patient care plans, document medical histories, and participate in quality improvement processes.
Candidates must have a current unrestricted North Carolina PA or NP license, a DEA certificate, and graduation from an accredited program. Previous experience in a medical office or FQHC is preferred, along with CPR certification.
Seeking Experienced APP
The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. Under a physician’s supervision, the PA/NP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients.

Education: Graduation from an accredited program. Current State of North Carolina PA or NP licensure/certification required. Current DEA certificate required. Board Certification if applicable.
