Summary:The Tutorisresponsibleforhelpingprogramparticipants by providingacademicsupportrelatedtopreparation to the State Regents Exams. The Tutor will work one-on one with each studentassignedor small groups to support student subject content readiness. Subjects focus: Algebra OR USHistory,Global History OR Living Environment OR English LanguageArts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may beassigned.
Follow proposed working hoursschedule
Arrive on time and ready towork
Sign In and Out upon arrival anddeparture
Provide one on one support to studentsassigned
Track and record students receiving support (using sign in sheets and/or onlinetool)
Assist Programs in their administrative tasks such as: answering the phone, faxing, filing&organizing
Position Type and Expected Hours ofWork:
Days and hours are generally Monday to Friday11am-4pm.

Ability and patience to work with young people, recognizing their exuberance and juvenilebehavior,particularly in groupsettings.
