The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care and health assessments for agency clients in accordance with nursing standards. Key duties include administering medications, managing medical records, and coordinating care with physicians and specialists.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, NYS RN licensure, and BLS certification. One to three years of experience working with substance use or mental health populations is preferred.

Under general direction, The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care, as assigned, to agency clients in accordance with agency policies and procedures and current standards of Nursing Practice. Completes assigned duties and documents in the medical record in accordance with medical record policies and procedures. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.
