The Associate Laboratory Director provides medical and technical oversight for the Clinical Laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulations and high-quality test performance. This role involves managing laboratory personnel, strategic planning, and interfacing with product development teams to meet operational needs.
Candidates must hold a Medical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathic, or a Doctoral degree in a relevant laboratory science field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a clinical diagnostics laboratory is required, along with board certification.

Position Overview
The Associate Laboratory Director, is a key role within the Abbott Cancer Diagnostics division. This role is responsible for the medical and technical oversight of the Clinical Laboratory including, but not limited to, the employment of personnel who perform test procedures, maintain technical and quality records, and report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently and for assuring compliance with the applicable regulations.
This is a remote role.
