The Histotechnician performs histological preparations for tissue whole exome sequencing, including tissue processing, slide staining, and macrodissection. They also provide general oversight of laboratory operations, ensure adherence to turnaround time goals, and assist in training new team members.
Candidates must hold an associate degree or higher in a histotechnician program or a chemical/biological science with relevant histology experience. HT (ASCP) certification is required for this role.
